HOME GROUPS

homegrouplogo

The aim of house groups is to deepen our knowledge and understanding of our faith and its working out in practice, by meeting together for discussion. Small informal groups encourage questioning and sharing ideas and fellowship. (all existing)

Groups meet on various days of the week, generally in people's homes, and follow a programme of discussion and activities. For more details contact Chris Lance, or the church office 01903 205722.

TUESDAY GROUP

tuesGroup

Tuesday Group is primarily a women’s group and many of us are church members, but we welcome anyone who is interested in our programme.

We enjoy listening to speakers who talk on a wide range of topics from the Sussex Air Ambulance Service to Bee Keeping.
We try our hand at crafts and test our skills with quizzes and games.

Evenings always end with tea and conversation.
Current Programme is here
We meet at 8.00 pm in the Allan Fletcher Hall on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month (apart from school holidays).

We have a social evening at a restaurant in Worthing on the last Friday of every month. All women are welcome. Plans for each outing can be found on the notices page of the website or in handouts on Sundays at church.

JUBILATE

notes

We are a singing group comprising some 26 members. We meet fortnightly on Friday evenings at 7.30 pm. in the Allan Fletcher Hall.
We sing mostly modern material such as Graham Kendrick and Roger Jones. What we might lack in 'fine tuning' is more than made up for in warmth and fellowship and the enjoyment of sharing in what we do.
We sing here at Offington and we also visit other churches and venues such as Ford Prison and St. Barnabas Hospice, sometimes performing secular programmes too.
For more information please phone the Office on 01903 205722.

OFF-BEAT

jubilate

We are a group of musicians and singers of all ages and abilities who aspire to help in the worship of the Church. We use varying styles of music from the liveliest to the most meditative.
The emphasis is very much on worship and praise, which we find enhances the fun and fellowship we share together.
Meetings are held at 7.30 pm on most Thursday evenings at 19 Poulters Lane, Worthing. If you would like further information, please call the Office on 01903 205722. You are all welcome to join us.
