Help

1. All the pages on this website can be accessed by clicking on title words like this Title which are mainly located on the front page.

2. When you finish reading a page you will notice that the top of the window does not scroll and on the right hand side of the top banner there is a link return to front page. This will return you to the page with all the links on so that you can select another topic.

3.There are links to other websites such as www.methodist.org.uk. When you leave this site the Offington Park Methodist Church banner will go and the only way you can return automatically is to use the back button on the top of your web browser. You can of course enter our address again in the address field of your browser or use the favorites link if you have set it up.

4. To set the favourites link on your browers to include Offington Park’s website go to our front page and then click favorites on the tool bar usually on the second row of text on your browser. A list will appear down the left hand side of your screen which , at the top has a box labelled add”. Click this and a text box appears asking you to confirm that you want to add this site to your favorites. Just confirm by clicking OK.

5. Normally as you move across the page with the mouse you will see the familiar curved arrow. However if you move the mouse over an area where a click will take you to another page the curved arrow will change to a pointing hand. This applies to pictures as well as text. 

Note: On our Home page the sign >> means that I have just changed this page.

Note: If you find the text too small to see in any website . Click the left hand mouse key on the page then hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard down. When you scroll with the mouse wheel the text will get bigger or smaller ! Releasing the Ctrl key and the wheel scrolls the window again.
