Parents with children

shipshapeShipShape takes place each Sunday in parallel with the morning service. All kids are welcome for a voyage of adventure as part of one of our two crews. Games, quizzes, drama and craft help us explore what it’s like to be part of God’s fleet. If you’re aged between three and twelve jump on board and let’s set sail together!

COZ
The group is designed for teenagers. Members join us at the age of 12 to about 16. They meet on Wednesdays from 7.30 till 9.00p.m in the Church Hall. The leader is Ashley Bishop and you can be put in contact with him via the Church office (01903-205722).

Getaway Club

getaway

The club offers the opportunity for parents, grandparents or even minders to chat over coffee or tea whilst their children (or children in their care) play in a safe environment. It is an open club and no pre-registration is required. Our activities and toys are primarily for babies and toddlers up to the age of three years, though older pre-school children are welcome.
Jean Singleton organizes this twice- weekly group. The club meets every Monday and Wednesday from 10.15 to 11 .45 a.m. during school terms. Also throughout the year a number of social and fund-raising events are organised. The club is a member of the Red House Book Club and their catalogues are available each month.
If you are a new parent or new to the Worthing area and would like to join a church-based group this would definitely be a useful first stop.
For further details please contact the Office (tel. 01903 205722).

Sataplog
(Sit And Talk And Play Lots Of Games) youthworkmag

This is a Sunday evening gathering for teenagers aged 13 +.
Opportunities are presented for more serious discussion about how young people see their relationship with church. The Club bases its approach on the excellent magazine “YOUTHWORK” which looks at Christian ideas from a youthful perspective.
On the 1st Sunday of the month, the Minister and his wife host the meeting at the Manse (4, Gorse Avenue).
On the 3rd Sunday we meet in the Quiet Room.**
On the 4th Sunday we again meet in the Quiet Room** but like to welcome new faces. Either come with a friend or simply come and introduce yourself.
(At present there is no meeting on the second Sunday of the month.)

** The Quiet Room is at the back of the Church and can be accessed by coming into the Hall entrance at the side of the Church where there will be someone to direct you.
Sarah Earl and Liz Long lead some evenings and John and Angela Turberville lead others
