PRAYER DIARY FOR APRIL
“Go therefore to all nations and make them my disciples; I will be with you always, to the end of time” Matthew 28 verse 19,20
Dear Lord,
Sunday:
Invoke in us a pure heart so that we can give You the honour and praise that You deserve; we thank You for this wonderful world we live in.
Monday:
Impart Your word afresh to us; we pray for those that share Your word and for those who come to pray with us in our communal worship or in our homes.
Tuesday:
Inspire us by the power of your Spirit to show love and mercy to all those we meet; help us to be humble beings as we gaze in awe at all we have.
Wednesday:
Enable us to help and serve others as we thank You Lord for all who help and serve us; for the work of our pastoral visitors and communion stewards.
Thursday:
Enliven our lives with new energising faith so that we can reach out to the community we live in; we pray for the homeless, the marginilised and for the housebound.
Friday:
Empower us to be bold in our evangelism and mission; we pray for the life of this Circuit of Methodist Churches.
Saturday:
Excite us in new ventures; we pray for the success of Messy Church, Liquid Worship, a younger children’s club and for the Sharing Faith course.
- We ask all these things in Your name, Amen.
